quick mountain village sketch

Damn..! This is really good. Wonderful evening atmosphere. It doesn't look like a village though. I'm getting more of a Machu Picchu or Tibethan feel with the ornate, temple like structures. It looks very well planned, organic. With structures following the terrain. Built in stone, to last for milennia. I find it easy to start dreaming about the civilization that built it based on what I see. It's big, and have been there for a long time in order to construct something like this. This is at the level of Roman or even high medieval culture with the engineering that has gone into constructing this place. It is humane because it does not hammer the land flat, but instead show consideration to what nature created. This is a holy place, or it has some other profound meaning to it's builders (and this is not just based on the angel in the foreground) I see the temple with the circular courtyard, the spires that will be visible from miles away. I see the benignity in the culture by the plantlife that is allowed to thrive on the manmade structures. I see possible religion in the fact that there are no people, but the streets are clean, so it's in use. Maybe they are at evening prayer or maybe they are attending some other event... Okay I've ranted enough. Anyway, instant fave. Well done mate!
